Sep 20, 2024 · Lucinda Thurston-ZeiglerThis will be lengthy . This is our first year at IOC, but so far we love it! It’s extremely kid friendly. There’s a playground near the shelter house, along with volley ball net & basketball court. 5-6 ponds to fish (c&r) plus a beach- my son’s favorite part! Everyone we’ve met so far has been really nice. My son gets free popsicle’s/ice cream from other campers, there’s a ton of kids for him to play with & room to run around & explore. There’s quite a few dogs but I haven’t seen any running loose at all, everyone is great about keeping their pups on a leash! Quiet time starts at 11pm & it’s usually quiet by 10pm. It’s peaceful & beautiful! We haven’t had much interaction with the owners aside from text/email when we need to put in an order for firewood or pump out, but we see Gary or his family on occasion passing by & wave. We haven’t had any issues so far with anything! Also, one thing we love is that every month there’s some kind of event being held. Poker run (kid friendly/family friendly- anyone can participate), corn-hole tournaments, concerts, karaoke, bounce house, water-balloon fights, food trucks, etc. our son has enjoyed many events, as well as our nieces/nephews. Thank you to everyone who contributes to keeping IOC beautiful, safe & fun! ❤️
Jul 22, 2024 · Precious MiniardGary and Wes, along with family members create a safe, family-oriented, fun atmosphere. We always have had great communication between them regarding our experience in our campground. Our two boys love fishing, the beach, and playing with all their friends throughout the campground. We’ve met friends that we consider family now and even get to enjoy the off-season without water. We are confident we picked the perfect campground to call our Happy Place—and the Porter family is a big reason why!
Aug 24, 2023 · Brett WamplerWe try to stay to our selves the playground has the new pavilion pricing is reasonable in comparison to other? It is dog friendly sometimes I feel like it’s too relaxed. Some people allow their dogs to bark the entire time.
Oct 01, 2024 · Heather Rashel WarrenThis campground is great, very well kept and clean! Everyone is welcoming and more like a new "weekend family" than just other campers. The sites are much larger than other places and from our experience half the price!! The beach lake is always fun to float or kayak around, kids love to play at playground or basketball court and there are plenty of lakes to go fishing! We've been here just over 6 months and I haven't found a negative yet!
