Absolutely stunningly nesteld in the mouth of a canyon. It's close to the road, so you get some traffic noise from late cruisers. The road in is easy. They say trailers not recommended, but if it's a smaller one you'd be fine.It has an outhouse on siteThe breeze down the canyon was lovely. You can hike back and see a stunning waterfall from runoff, but plan on hanging out a bit for the water to reside.
Aug 11, 2020 · Jeremiah RobkerA great hike through a very interesting canyon. Lush with vegetation and animal life. The trail follows a creek bed lined with boulders, cactus, lizards, birds, bugs, trees, and grasses all bracketed by towering canyon walls. There is no clearly defined end to the trail. Just explore to the end of your heart's desire. A great hike to bring dogs along, and to wear shoes you won't mind getting wet. Four (4) Walk-in campsites are avilable at the beginning of the trail. This hike is similar to the Grandstaff hike and both are must-do hikes!!
Apr 14, 2017 · Cameron FreiburghausBe sure to visit the info board and reserve your spot - pay the fee (check or cash). There was a lot of confusion with our site and who had ‘rights’ to camp there. Long story short - put in your reservation and it’s yours. Photos are from campsite #1. If all the sites long this canyon are full, you can put in a Reservation for a future date. While this is definitely an ATV-centric site and road, the noise wasn’t too bad for the beauty and remote location.
Oct 16, 2020 · Angela BBEAUTIFUL AND SECLUDED u can totally take a two wheel dr car just be slow and careful. I did fine in my Jetta. went after fourth of july and surprisingly only saw some day explorers in ATVs. ***BUT the water is completely dried up this far down, so stay up by the busy campgrounds right on the green river if u want h2O to play w.
Jul 10, 2020 · Jane FerraraBeautiful area. Close to off road trails and mountain biking trails. Lots to explore out here. Gets dusty with all the vehicle and OHVs in the area, but hey, it’s the desert! Everything is dusty!
