★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My family spent 4 nights camping here while we explored Acadia. The location was great! Close to SW Harbor and about 25 mins to downtown Bar Harbor, less to Acadia. The campground was well maintained, very clean bathhouse. We stayed in site 21 which was centrally located to the quarry and the bathhouse. The rest of the campground seems to have porta potties, so I wanted easy access to an actual toilet.
July 15 · Sarah LovettHidden Gem. This is a very unique campground. It's built on the side of a mountain facing the water. It caters to tents, vans, and smaller Class C. Some sites are right on the water. Some tent sites have wood platforms. Very laid back and quiet. It even has a pool, rental kayaks and small quarry with a free padel boat.
July 19 · Glenn ZiorWe had a great experience at the HTR Acadia Campground. It was located near Acadia National Park, making it easy to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. This was the 10th campground we stayed at during a 3-week road trip, and we were not disappointed. The bathrooms were clean with hot water, and our check-in instructions (even though we arrived after hours) were clear. We would stay here again if we come back to Acadia National Park.
June 28 · Sara ElliottWe enjoyed our stay at HTR Acadia. We came before the main tourist season so the campground was quiet. The bathrooms were clean and updated. Our two dogs enjoyed strolls around the grounds and down to the water. Easy drive into Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
May 23 · Olivia BainterThis campground is under new ownership and is now called Quarry Ledge campground. I was frantically trying to figure out what happened since we have a reservation next month that we made through HTR- it was all transferred over no problem (the person I spoke to on the phone was very helpful). Just wanted to let others know in case you also are having trouble figuring out details. Happy camping!
