May 28, 2023 · Penny RutterGreat place for walks, picnics, family gatherings. 3 pavilions. Open field for playing sports, soccer or 🏈 or flying a kite. River access for fishing. Has Campground (no showers or running water) has outhouses and hand pumped water.
Sep 28, 2024 · Sandi KressNice campground with spacious, partially shaded sites. Host Ron was friendly and helpful. If you decide to camp here, however, carefully check whether the pricing structure meets your needs: As of summer 2021, it is not *per site* but *per [camp] unit*, e.g., tent, trailer, etc. For example, if a group occupies a single site with two tents, they will be charged twice the stated rate of $23, plus two times $8 if the site is designated as electric (even though some of the electric hookups are quite far from the sites - you might need a 50-ft or longer outdoor extension cord to use them).
Jul 12, 2021 · Konstantin LäuferWe love camping here!!! Camp hosts were awesome!!! Beautiful weekend for a fire!!!
Oct 02, 2023 · cindy millerRude and belligerent hosts. Far overpriced for the quality and lack of nearly any campground amenities. Used by people who confuse a campground for some combination of a playground (screaming kids), a club (lots of RV lights), and a bar (despite alcohol being prohibited). When others do finally shut up, the noise of I-39 continues all night. The quality matches the local culture and intellect. Not for anyone who has experienced a national park, backcountry (= real) camping, or wilderness.
