Holton Creek River Camp

Jasper, FL 32052, USA

4.0
The camp attendants are so friendly, and the campground is very clean and well maintained! The screened in platforms are comfortable and easy to stay in. This campground is designed to be hiked into or paddled into. You can only drive in and keep your car overnight if you have a handicapped parking tag. We did try to meet up with friends here, but they were followed by a local and intimidated, so they never made it to the campground, and on my way to drive to the campground, I was run off the road by a local. But the difference between the local area and the trail and waterway is night and day. I definitely recommend this campground, but I don't recommend the Jasper area as your starting point for the Florida Trail, because the area is not LGBTQ+ friendly or POC friendly. - Ian Van Fossan
