Holland State Park Beach Campground Reviews
Friendly staff and well-maintained. The camp host does a good job and ensuing only campers or visitors of campers come in. It's nice that you don't have to worry about beac visitors driving needlessly through the campsite. It's all cement parking and no tents can be in sand. You have to bring a fire pit unless you use the ones in the common space. Fire pit has to stay on the blacktop. No alcohol allowed and they will make you dump out your drinks. They inform you of the rules at check-in.
May 13, 2025 · Louise BjelobrkGreat rv or cabin rental spot right on the beach. Kid friendly but quite compared to most rv campgrounds. Highly recommend
May 31, 2025 · My Life - DIYGreat campground if you love the beach and have no dogs. While the campground is dog friendly the beach is not. The sites are paved but that doesn't mean they were even. You get a good size pad to park and enjoy on. The bathrooms were very nice and the showers were the cleanest we've seen. The camp host came around and introduced themselves. They had a fun spot-it game for our kids. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk and just gorgeous. We enjoyed evening walks to see the sunset. There's a small general store with ice cream about a 15 minute walk from the beach. A big array of flavors to choose from. Super friendly and accommodating staff. They even let us order 5 minutes to close our last night. We will definitely be coming back to this one.
Jun 30, 2024 · Melissa FisherWe had a wonderful weekend camping for the holland tulip festival! The campground accommodated tents however you can’t stake it in the ground. Each site does not have grills or fire pits but there are a few that anyone in the campground can use on the beach. It is in a great location and you can walk to see beautiful sunsets on the beach! The bathrooms are clean and a close walk!
May 08, 2023 · Nicole SchmidtLiked staying here. Bathroom was very clean and nice quiet campgrounds. Very nice fellow campers as well. Only issues was how crowded it got at night with everyone trying to watch sunset. I figured itd be easy to set up camera gear and snap photos, but crowds started flooding in, and taking over the beach. I'm sure local people know that, and its public so I cant complain too much. It just wasnt expected by any of the 6 in our party! Still cool place and obviously popular.
