Holden Family Campground Reviews
This is the best campground / RV Park I can remember staying at and my wife and I have been full timers in a 40 ft motorhome for about 6 years now. The owner is a jewel. Lots of 80' long and extra wide pull through sites. My wife enjoyed the pool which is heated. Large screened room with kitchen and lots of tables is a great place to meet everyone and everyone we met was super friendly. If ever we are back this way again we will plan on a longer stay. This trip was for only two nights 7/23-24/2017. I would be happy staying here for a month or a season it's that good.Tim O'Brien & Linda Louise Jorgensen
Jul 25, 2017 · Tim O'BrienAmazing experience. Great family atmosphere. Easy pull through level gravel camp sites and close by to any needed necessities. Great customer service
Jul 02, 2021 · Melissa ThomasThis is our first time here. We are here for the season and have been made right at home. Cyndi has been absolutely amazing in the office making sure we get our mail and packages and suggesting places to see or visit since we are from out of town. Wayne has been great taking care of the grounds and propane. Laundry, shower house, and restrooms are very clean. The pool is very nice and warm. So far everyone we have met in the rv park has been nice and welcoming. If you don’t enjoy this place you are doing something wrong because this is the best place we have stayed so far hands down.
Jun 17, 2023 · Heather LollarThis place is good if you want to keep to yourself. The gentleman that owns the place is so incredibly kind and welcoming. His wife, not so much. Very standoffish and doesn't do a great job of making you feel welcome like her husband. They appear to be kid friendly with the playground and all but again, the woman does a decent job of making you uncomfortable and feel like you're always doing something wrong or mean mugging my kids and myself watching them play as if they were doing something wrong. The gentleman that mows and weed eats the place is also really nice, but every single time he weedeated he would hit our RV.The gentlemen, location and pool save this place. Unfortunately you don't see them as much as you see the lady in the office. But it will be because of her we don't come back and will find a better fit for myself and my family who have stayed at hundreds of campgrounds and been all over the United States. We were very excited to be here at this park from all of the reviews that were left. Apparently you have to be older, grumpy and returning long stay payers to get even a little comfort and kindness. Will definitely choose somewhere different our next stay.
Jun 13, 2023 · Leslie MarieWe've been here two weeks or so and are booked for the whole season. This has been a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. The site is well maintained and it's in a great spot to be. There's lots of amenities around the property, it's a bit of a drive to the ocean but really not too bad. It's the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a campground for the summer.
