Hickory Ridge Campground LLC Reviews
Great little campground for a one night stop over. Lots of long term rigs. Water pressure great - except this morning when we had none. Seems someone thought it amusing to turn off our water in the middle of the night. Swimming pool very nice - needs some umbrellas or shade areas to sit other than the janky area outside of the fenced area where all the smokers sit. Washer and dryers worked very well and were only $1.50. Owners are super nice and are definitely making improvements. Our site was easy in/out and was level - we didn’t need to unhook.
Jun 22, 2025 · Marylou CleavelandHickory Ridge was a great choice for us as we traveled from TN to KS and back. It is conveniently located just off interstate 70 and was easy to find. We had no trouble getting in and out with our 21ft travel trailer. My wife said the bathrooms were neat and clean. The folks at HR were very accommodating and it was a quiet place to stop for the night. We would recommend this place for an overnight stay as that is the type of stay we had with them.
Jun 01, 2025 · Keith BaumgardnerSo grateful they were able to get us in last minute. The campground is large and very busy. I did not give 5 stars as the bathroom facility is not the best. The campsites are one on top of the other and I was nervous to use the firepit as it was so close to our camper. There is no exhaust fan and so hot inside. Both owners were wonderful and I know they are trying to get this new campground to them together. I wish them all the luck but would recommend to come here.
Jun 25, 2025 · Jody GrayPulled in for an overnight RV stop. Rates were very reasonable. Was easy to find off of 70. Super nice owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests. We were there before the season so pool wasn't open yet but the park was very nice, clean, and great for pets. Would stop again.
May 17, 2025 · Denise BrusakEasy on and off interstate. We had a w/e site, escorted to our site. There was plenty of room for our 42' 5th wheel and F350.Diesel available at gas station.Place is bigger than it first looks. Glad we had an escort as we got a complete view of the campground. Some sites were close together, and others were very spacious. The host was friendly. There was some road noise, I think if you were further back in the campground it would be an issue. Did not bother us once we went inside.Big dog park.Only negative, stepped in dog poop as we were unhooking. Yuck.
