Haystack West Shore Campground and Day Use Area Reviews
We had a great stay at this campground, but the real standout was the camp host, Bob. He was absolutely fantastic—so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Whether it was offering tips on the best nearby trails, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, or just sharing a friendly conversation, Bob made the experience feel extra special. It’s rare to meet someone who clearly cares so much about making campers feel comfortable and cared for. The campground itself was clean and peaceful, but Bob truly made it memorable. We’ll definitely be back—and hope he’s still hosting!
