Hartman Center Campground and Retreat Reviews
This is our second trip to Hartman’s. Both trips have been great. The folks we have dealt with are courteous, friendly, and professional. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom, well stocked and the cabins are well lit. This is a plus for visually impaired folks. They accommodate us with a special request that we appreciate highly. The campground is quiet, with lots of room to wander. Pricing is comparable to a good hotel. There is a public pool but the cabins have a fire ring, picnic table, a porch, or a tiny courtyard with a private hot tub. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed!
Jun 05, 2025 · Mary McNittWe enjoyed our one night stay. The campground is well kept. Lots of things for all families to do. Grounds were peaceful and easy to get around. We will be back again. Highly recommend.
Jun 09, 2025 · Sylvia HartmanOur group had an amazing time at the campgrounds. Each family group had an MTH cabin which provided our glamping experience forever memorable. The staff was very helpful in their own way. Amenities are a lot to cover, hence our stay is not enough and should have stayed longer. It was a very worthwhile trip and would go back again.
Jun 09, 2025 · Rex AbadillaWe loved our stay in one of the tiny homes at Hartman Center Campground. We booked our trip as a last minute weekend getaway and were so happy with the accommodations. The layout is perfect for two. The hot tub is a huge added bonus. Although it is close in proximity to the neighboring tiny homes and camp sites it still manages to feel private. The bed was soooo comfortable too. It has everything you need to feel at home. We cooked both inside and over the fire. It actually rained most of our stay, but I enjoyed being able to relax to the sound of the raindrops falling on the roof. Check in and check out is hassle free, which is important to me. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a “glamping” experience and look forward to coming back soon!
May 06, 2025 · KaseyWe had an amazing time celebrating my daughter’s graduation weekend at Hartman Center Campground :) We rented the 2 bedroom Penn State cabin and one of the Aframe modern tiny homes for our group. Both places had beautiful decor and were stocked with all the basic necessities for a great stay. My only mistake was not realizing the 2 bedroom cabin didn’t have an oven, but that wasn’t their fault just mine. They did have a big full size fridge, coffee pot/filters, microwave, cook top, and kitchen tools/pots. Plates, silverware, glasses, and coffee cups for about 6 people. Additionally, bed linens, bathroom towels, and some startup paper products were also supplied. There were more supplies in the cabin but those listed above were the main items. ( This was in the bigger 2 bedroom cabin) We didn’t use the pool, basketball courts, or extra campground amenities but they looked in great condition. In regard to dealing with management regarding our reservation and stay, everything worked seamlessly. Staff was quick to answer questions both on the phone and by text. In closing, I have to say I am not usually someone who submits online reviews, but our experience both at the lodging facility and with the staff was fantastic. We would definitely book lodging here again. 😊
