Hard Rock Group Campground

Aufderheide Drive, Blue River, OR 97413, USA

4.0
I've been coming here with family for the last few years and we love this little campground. There's a nice little spot on the river where the water is fairly calm so our dogs and wander around the water. We pull up some chairs and cool off at the same spot for a nice quiet read. It's true the spot isn't 100% private. There's a long "driveway" you drive down to get to the spot at the end and there's really no way to keep people out. But we've never had any issues with people driving up while we're camped. There are a handful of fisherman that walk through the site though. They usually stay just outside the campground to check out the water and pick a spot for fishing. Never bothered us too much except for the few times the dogs got annoyed with them being too close. Didn't seem worth putting up a stink when they just wanted to fish. It's a great group spot if you can get a reservation. Sometimes it's hard because it's such a popular spot. - Carrie Entler [she_her]
