Harbor Vista County Campground & Park Introduce
Nestled on a scenic bluff overlooking the majestic Pacific Ocean and the mouth of the Siuslaw River, Harbor Vista County Campground & Park offers Oregon locals an unparalleled coastal camping experience in Florence. This well-maintained park is more than just a place to pitch a tent or park an RV; it's a gateway to the breathtaking beauty of the Oregon Coast, combining stunning natural vistas with convenient amenities. Whether you're seeking a tranquil retreat, an adventurous beach outing, or a comfortable base to explore the charm of Florence, Harbor Vista provides a welcoming and memorable setting.
Harbor Vista is celebrated for its panoramic views, particularly from its day-use area, which directly overlooks where the Siuslaw River meets the vast Pacific Ocean, near the North Jetty. This unique vantage point makes it an ideal spot for enjoying sunsets, watching fishing boats, and even spotting migrating whales during the appropriate seasons. The park's commitment to visitor satisfaction is frequently highlighted by positive reviews, emphasizing the helpfulness of its staff. As one delighted visitor shared, "We were driving through and pulled in here. We enjoyed our stay! Helpful host that monitored the park well. The kids had a great time riding their bikes around and heading down to the beaches to explore!" This speaks to the family-friendly atmosphere and the active engagement of the park's hosts.
While every outdoor experience can have its minor hiccups, Harbor Vista's team is dedicated to ensuring a positive stay. A candid review mentioned, "Aside from the tweaker pretending to be a rooster and waking everyone in camp up early the following morning we had a really good time staying here for the night during the Rhododendron days festival. While our campsite was not cleaned prior to our arrival (spilled Lima beans all over the site), the camp host was very gracious and offered us a new site and even made sure to offer us a site with a beach view. While we chose to go another route for our second night, we definitely appreciated their willingness to correct any discrepancies. Overall was a good experience." This illustrates the proactive and accommodating nature of the camp hosts, turning a potential negative into a testament to their excellent customer service. This dedication to ensuring visitor comfort, coupled with the park's prime location and diverse offerings, firmly establishes Harbor Vista County Campground & Park as a top choice for an unforgettable Oregon Coast getaway.

May 28, 2025 · Marshall DixonHarbor Vista Campground was a wonderful place to stay for a couple of nights. We stayed in space #5. Plenty of big bushy trees and shrubs to provide adequate privacy. Peaceful quiet campground with clean showers/restrooms and we would definitely stay again
May 30, 2025 · Michael BergstromHarbor Vista campground was peaceful, serene, and beautifully managed. Our family booked two spots, and the hosts were wonderful. They went above and beyond and made sure we had firewood in a timely manner. They accommodated everyone as much as possible and were friendly and efficient.Bathrooms were spotless and well cared for.Highly recommend staying here. ❤️
Jan 13, 2025 · S KyeBeautiful paved roads, great showers, and small cabins to enjoy walking down to the beach. We did tent camping, and it was very uneven everywhere for tents. So if your tent camping here, you're going to have to make room on the asphalt driveway that they give you because it's completely unlevel. And they absolutely need to get an arborist in there to do some work because there are three widowmakers that almost hit in my children!! And if you don't know what widowmakers are, they are branches that hang that will slam and break your head.
