Gulpha Gorge Campground Reviews
Gulpha Gorge is such a beautiful place. The one side with the camping spots is very nice place for you to get in the water. Has picnic tables and clean restrooms. Places for tents and I believe some campers. Very peaceful. I would recommend going there if you are ever in Hot springs. Even on the opposite side of the road is beautiful running water that runs over big rocks. Loved it.
Jun 13, 2025 · Pollyanna WherryThis is one of my favorite national park stops for overnight because they are so clean and so quiet. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are really, really clean(at least the one that you need a code to get in). I frequented here when I car camped and tent camped. The hot water in the showers gets really hot (and I love hot showers). Here’s a cheat code for the women… the women’s bathroom with the shower will sometimes have a line, but there’s never a line on the men’s side … so just go use the men’s shower room, they are identical minus the urinal. There are some nice trickling streams on the side of where you park and you can get some really good pictures. Again it’s just one of my favorite stops because it’s so clean and quiet.
May 13, 2025 · Dr. Synthia M. DoaksAbsolutely wonderful place to RV and stay for vacation when visiting Hot Springs, AR. This has to be the best campground spots we've stayed at. Our site was right on the creek with a spectacular view and calm surrounding of the park. The trails that lead right into the hot springs downtown were also very fun to hike and see. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
Apr 19, 2025 · Aaron MillerThey need to make half stars as this is a 3.5 star campground. It’s clean , well minus the trash in and on the opposite side of the creek that doesn’t get picked up . Bath Houses are nice and clean , only one has showers but they are very nice . Lots of dog crap everywhere , I hate lazy dog owners . Sites can be close together near the creek and in the middle of the campground , the only larger sites are right next to the road and that traffic is heard all night . If you are passing through and visiting the downtown area this is for you , you can walk but most will need to drive which kind of defeats a campground in a national park but it’s unique to the area . Lots of things to visit and do so if our just looking for a place to sleep then you found your place . If you want something littlemore immersed in nature then stay at Ouachita State Park .
Apr 04, 2025 · Chris DavisThe campground is beautiful and well kept. There is no formal check in. The camp host stays most at their camper and only went around the change out tags on campsites. Our campsite was on the water. We thought it was wonderful and it was lovely. The sounds of water helped drown out the nearby roadway. However, many many people have walked through our campsite. Some to climb down the retaining wall into the water. Some just walking their dogs. Everyone that was come through also is staying on a waterfront site. I have a reactive dog and have warned parents and children that she will bite and they still come while we are sitting outside. We camp at least once a month and don’t normally feel this anxious while camping. One family even used the shade of our slide out for their picnic!
