★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Pleased with everything except the floors in the cabin. Especially the bathroom floor. Very sticky, so sticky my shoes stuck to it. It may have been “pet friendly” but it still should’ve been mopped more thoroughly. And with a vinegar solution because it could’ve been residue from animal pee 🤷🏼♀️
July 15 · Melissa StoneGreat place to stay..so much to see and do besides the Casino.. People are friendly and they have all kinds of activities and get togethers but People respect YOUR privacy if you're not into people...
June 25 · AngeLia ColemanThis WAS probably a nice place 20 years ago but not any more. Hands down the WORST campground we have ever stayed in. First off the only traveling camping spaces are gravel so big it hurts your feet to walk on even with your rug, the spots are so tight together extremely unlevel with tree stumps sticking up to walk around, not a single blade of grass for the dogs and when we put out our awning it was overtop of the neighboring septic...yeah let's sit outside..not. These spots are in between all the they tell you not permanent but the structures are very much permanent sites that are so jammed together you cannot even see sunlight in between them so you are sandwiched between them both front and back and apparently the people that live in these "not permanent " sites have a sworn duty to the "sheriff" manager to ride past or pull beside you and sit staring into your windows every few minutes! Speaking of the sheriff, we were told immediately if we were drinking alcohol it had to be in a cozie and don't even think about taking a can of beer to the pool area. The only Bath house is in the pool area, the nicest word I have for that is it's DISGUSTING! Mold, spiders, filthy, hot, water leaking from somewhere, RUN away, don't use for anything. My husband said the men's side was just as bad and the toilet seat was bigger than the toilet lol.Now onto the ANT infestation we now have acquired from this DUMP. Yeah, real live crawling insects trying there best to take over, they were still trying to crawl in as we were pulling out, I guess they wanted out of there as bad as I did..Oh and let's not forget the internet and codes for everything that as they tell you "may or may not work" we must have came on a may not work day. With the internet we had full bars but an invalid password so that's what they said it may or may not work..we also had problems with the front gate and there is literally NO ONE to help you if you can't get in after hours..Hubby says there is no need for puppy poop bags here because the whole place is a total shit show!!! Don't let there pretty pictures deceive you like they did us. Now onto better days and exterminating...never again not so "great" smoking mountain campground.
June 15 · Gail GardnerThis is a fabulous location. There are very few transitory slots. The majority of spaces here are semi-permanent or permanent and used throughout the year. It is exceptionally clean quiet and well-run. I cannot say enough good things about it.
August 16 · J MWe love our seasonal spot. Couldn't ask for any better place
