The feedback from previous visitors paints a clear picture of what makes Grayling Campground special. Campers consistently praise the friendly and professional staff, with one reviewer noting that a staff member named Mel was "awesome." The cleanliness of the facilities is a point of pride, with visitors frequently mentioning the clean restrooms and well-maintained grounds. While one reviewer mentioned that the campground can feel "super crowded" and is a "KOA style 'stack em up' camping," other reviews contradict this, calling it a "quiet and peaceful" spot with "plenty of space between sites." This difference in opinion likely depends on the time of year, with weekends and holidays being busier. The overall sentiment, however, is one of appreciation for the beautiful lake, the forested setting, and the kind, helpful hosts who ensure a pleasant stay. The opportunity for excellent fishing and easy access to the lake adds to its allure, making it a well-rounded choice for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors in eastern Arizona.

July 17 · Genevieve BarnesSuper crowded, super full. The landscape was nice with some good forested spots, but you're close to your neighbors, and you will have neighbors. One of the joys of primitive camping is the ability to be anywhere... This is KOA style "stack em up" camping great for city people used to having close neighbors. The access was easy, adequate roadside parking with a short (dozens to hundreds of feet) walk to a campsite. Bathrooms are good.We did not stay. Opted to get up to Lyman instead.
June 11 · Jon Sanchez2nd time back. First time the host had an emergency and had to leave. This time we got to see that all the comments about them are true. Super nice, friendly people. They are very by the rules, which is good unless you are a rule breaker, lol. We've had a lot of campsites with late night noise and rowdy people. The host here will not allow our put up with that so it was good for us. Beautiful spot, close walk to the lake. Great time was had
June 27 · Julie MacGreat camping site, away from the main road so you can't hear the traffic when you are trying to relax, maybe the occasional ATV driving kids around. Site hosts are very nice and friendly. Flush-able toilets near the host site, will stay here again.
July 31 · polo castroThis campground is tucked away from the other surrounding campgrounds. The fresh air, beautiful scenery and wildlife are plentiful. I would highly recommend camping here and you can go online and reserve a spot.
