★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The camping hosts were incredibly nice. When we arrived, they were waiting to welcome us and provide all the information we needed. They also had to break the news that campfires weren’t allowed—something that wasn’t their fault, as the Recreation.gov app hadn’t updated that restriction. The campsite itself is gorgeous, with a beautiful view of the lake. Although the regular bathrooms are still out of order, there are two temporary restrooms that were very clean.Overall, we had a great experience and would love to come back!
May 05 · Gustavo A. Quitto ReisI recently stayed at this campsite, and let me tell you, it was a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As soon as I arrived, I knew I was in for a treat. There was no cell phone service or internet to distract me from enjoying the great outdoors and disconnecting from the digital world. It was a little unnerving at first, but I quickly adjusted and found myself feeling more relaxed than I had in years. The central firepit was a real highlight of the campsite, and it was the perfect spot for grilling up some hot dogs and telling ghost stories. The picnic tables were spacious and well-maintained, and there were even multiple smaller picnic table ramadas and firepits scattered throughout the area. It was clear that this campsite was designed with larger groups in mind, making it an ideal spot for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, or anyone looking to camp with a big party. But what really blew me away were the views. The campsite was situated in a spot that provided picture-perfect views of the lake and the surrounding area. I spent hours just taking it all in, marveling at the beauty of nature and feeling grateful to be alive. All in all, I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a chance to unplug and unwind. Just make sure to bring plenty of bug spray, and maybe a few extra batteries for your flashlight. And if you're worried about getting bored without internet, don't worry – you'll be too busy enjoying the great outdoors to even think about checking your email.
April 14 · Brian SnyderLarge group site, nicely laid out, Ramada area was perfect with serving tables separate. There is a significant amount of invasive grasses, avoiding carrying seeds home or other non-infested areas inadvertently.
April 23 · Ernie Johnson (A Different Potato)Nice site to camp for views and location but Bathrooms were not operable- had portable toilets, had to drive 4miles to shower and get water.
November 29 · Ivan OlsonSetup here is fantastic for a large group. Close to the water, nice ramadas, flushing toilets, sinks to wash your hands. Enough space between camping spots so that you don't feel on top of each other.
