Glacier Campground Reviews
You cannot beat this location for Glacier Park. It was 5 minutes from our campsite to West Glacier. The camp site was nice and the staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. The price was on the high side but you expect that with a location like this. The Sunflower cafe was great for dinner, we got the sampler platter with brisket, pork ribs, and pulled pork and it was enough for 3 hungry adults with some left over. I highly recommend the dinner there at least one night. The drinks were great too! Our site had power and water, no sewer. They do have a pump out service for an additional fee. I can only mention 2 low points keeping me from giving this place 5 stars. 1. The shower rooms and bathrooms are dated and need some upgrades. Better changing areas for each shower and more counter space is needed. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. 2. There seems to be a music venue next to the campground, some nights had loud music playing until after 11pm. it wasn't too bad where we were but camp sites to the northwest side of the park would be bothersome. We also heard an occasional train going by but it wasn't too loud and didn't bother us.
Jun 27, 2025 · Eli NelsonThis campground was so cute and the location was 5 min from the west gate e trace to Glacier National Park! There was a little playground our girls loved, the camp site was heavy treed and the perfect size. The office staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They have a little gift shop on site that has local made crafts like soaps, jewelry, magnets, super cute T-Shirts and even a tiny thrift shop corner. The bathrooms are a wee bit tiny and the showers are laid out a little odd, but they are spotlessly clean. It was a great spot to camp. We would absolutely stay here again.
Jun 30, 2025 · Kathy OBRIENThis is a really nice campground and had everything expected - showers, bathrooms, running water. I was in a tent only. The only complaint I have are the weird stoves that they have all over the place, rather than pits, that seem optimized for smoke inhalation and burning yourself. I kept wanting to put a log on top but you can't do that since there's a grate in the way, and the only way to mess with the fire is to lay in the dirt. Very weird design. Otherwise great stay.
Jun 29, 2025 · Alek RatzloffThis place is AMAZING! Staff smile, are polite, knowledgeable and more. Gus the manager/owner was super helpful and extended his services in transporting us through some hairy bicycling routes. The facilities are clean and the place is quiet. You’ll find all you need for a relaxing vacation spot. Thanks Glacier Campground for your services!Bill and Sharon
Jul 03, 2025 · william morrisseyReally nice campground a minute from the Western entrance to Glacier National Park. The camp sites are spacious, and the rest room, shower house was clean! Most importantly to most people the showers were hot, and had plenty of water pressure!! They also have a cafe there but did not try it out. The front desk woman was really helpful! The WiFi was decent but it only works by the camp office, and it’s only works for 30 minutes at a time. You then just have to log into it again! I would highly recommend this campground especially if you plan to be doing things on the Western side of the park!
