gkl properties campground Reviews
Very small and secluded, perfect little campground, they keep expanding slowly but surely! The only bad thing is since they're adding more sights, some of the trails and walkways aren't finished and if it rains they get very muddy.
Jun 15, 2025 · Cheems DogStayed there about 6 years ago (?), first or second year they were open. One could tell they were just getting started. All sites were shaded back then. If you wanted a sunny site, you were out of luck. Just had port a pots (clean) and small pavilion, a few golf cart trails , fishing lake and start of beach. Grevel roads and sites, but no dust. Had nothing but good experiences with management camp host and what few other campers that were there. We stayed for a week at a time through that summer. Be sure you have 50ft of cord and water hose as our hookups were a little long (every experienced camper should know have these anyway). If I remember correctly, only had 50amp electric hookups throughout the campground. Seems that they also gave us a weekly rate back then(?). We had totally a great experience each time we stayed. Have recommended this campground to others when we can. In short, we would stay there again when in the area.
Jun 27, 2025 · Duane RoepkeWent to hang out with family for a bit. Quiet campground with expansion in process. Really nice shower facility and small playground.
May 07, 2025 · CynthiaWhere do I even start? Stayed here from May to September. Every month on the first you can bet that my phone would be blowing up by owner pinching for money. Relax, common sense you will get your money in your drop box first of every month. Then she would have to tell me mid month how much I owe for electricity, when she fails to text me and then tells me “that’s how late you are on it” it’s not my problem, it’s your job to text me the amount own and I WILL pay you same day as soon as I know correct amount. Then as a person who lived here full time, you kick me out accusing me of smoking weed?? You smelled it from my “area”?? I have never touched the stuff. So much disrespect it’s quite sickening. I have never seen such poor management in my life by any business. The people who camp here are nice folks. Owners are greedy as can be, wish I could give less than one star
