Geneva State Park Campground Reviews
We spent two nights at Geneva State Park. We had a full hookup site with a beautiful view of Lake Erie. Glorious sunsets! The only reason I gave the park 4 stars instead of 5 is that they did not have a place to take a shower in our part of the campground.
Jun 11, 2025 · April BocholisNice place to camp with plenty of activities for all ages. A small village, Geneva-on-the-Lake, is about 15 minutes away. The town is worth going. Food, beverages, and entertainment.
Jun 13, 2025 · william carlThe campground itself is beautiful and well kept, however we came to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet however other campers felt like the whole campground needed to hear their music. It wasn’t just one site blaring their music. One group was actually walking around pulling a speaker that was blaring, like they owned the place. It was like being parked at a nightclub. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but only stayed one. It ruined our weekend and I doubt that we’ll be back. It was sad because the bike trail was beautiful and there’s plenty to do in the area.
Jun 09, 2025 · Marysue McKinneyI love Geneva State Park! I'm visiting from Kentucky and was able to see the Northern lights this year.. right on Lake Erie! It's a beautiful place to watch the sunset..and get some peace. There's also a great campground to set up a tent, get hot showers, and do laundry!! The wildlife office is also awesome with information for the area. I had a wildlife officer stop to offer help after my battery died at the campground..so grateful. Thank you! I highly recommend a visit to Geneva State Park.
Oct 14, 2024 · Kimberly K.Would give this campground a 4.5 if I could. Great amenities including restrooms with flush toilets, soap to wash hands, and air dryers. They also have laundry, a playground, and a swimming beach on Eerie. The only addition I would like to see is a walking/biking path from the campsites to the restrooms with showers, laundry facilities, and to the the park office. Showers bathrooms are very clean.
