So I almost don’t dare sharing because I’m worried we won’t find a site. This is one hella gem of a campground. It’s 8 full miles ofc the main road but on weekends you are lucky to find a site. Many of the lake access ones are first come first serve. Otherwise one must reserve 4 days ahead of time.We were lucky. Got the last lakefront site. It was beyond epic. Great fire pit and grill plus picnic table. Stairs took us directly to the lake which was so clean and warm. Too our paddle board out for 4 hours one day and found an epic sand bar in the middle of the lake. This place is just a treasure! - Deanne Curcio
