Franklin Lake Campground Reviews
So I almost don’t dare sharing because I’m worried we won’t find a site. This is one hella gem of a campground. It’s 8 full miles ofc the main road but on weekends you are lucky to find a site. Many of the lake access ones are first come first serve. Otherwise one must reserve 4 days ahead of time.We were lucky. Got the last lakefront site. It was beyond epic. Great fire pit and grill plus picnic table. Stairs took us directly to the lake which was so clean and warm. Too our paddle board out for 4 hours one day and found an epic sand bar in the middle of the lake. This place is just a treasure!

May 25, 2018 · Jacob HalfmanOur kids and grandkids, plus her nephews and nieces and their children were having a cousins annual camping weekend there and we stopped by to visit for the afternoon. Very nice campground, plenty of space between sites and the sites were quite large. Beautiful campground and on a very really nice lake. Nice trails to explore, great fishing...look forward to camping there ourselves in the near future. They also offer first come-first serve sites, when available, no reservations needed which are sometimes hard to find now days.
