Accessibility to the campground is generally straightforward. While Fort McCoy maintains a rural and natural ambiance, the campground is reachable via well-maintained roads. The KOA’s official directions advise callers from the North on I-95 to stay straight on Highway 19 until Salt Springs, then turn onto County Road 316, followed by an 11-mile drive after seeing the KOA sign. Fort McCoy / Lake Oklawaha KOA Holiday Reviews
This is a sad KOA. It is geared towards atv's so it has a ton of atv's riding around campground and making a ton of noise and dust. The pool burned my skin. People walk right thru your campsite with no regard. The rules for atv's that we read were not followed and it made it hard to explain to our grandson. We pay more to stay at KOA's and expect a little more. It had no garbage service and our campsite had cigarette butts all over it. Gross place and do not recommend.
May 29, 2025 · Rebecca McDonoughI'm not sure how KOA called this place a holiday. But if you don't have an ATV then you don't belong here. They also treat you that way has someone took my side view mirror off my Class A motorhome while we were sleeping. We were wondering why all the better looking campsites have fences around their site the people that live there. Which was 99.9 of the people except for the residence. Dog crap all over a campsite cigarette butts broken picnic table. This place was so amazing instead of our 3-day stay we left the very next day after we pulled in that afternoon. I lost the rest of our money along with a side view mirror
Apr 09, 2025 · Rahn Monrea'LThis is a wonderful place to get away from life! Right on a river! Has a big recreational building with a kids corner and two pull tables. Also has super clean showers and bathrooms!! A big screen tv to watch what you want and a lot of sitting space. Wendy was exceptional! She keeps it clean and nice! There is also a dog walking area! Highly recommended to stay here!
Jan 18, 2025 · Leanne FiveashLiterally criminal. The majority of the lots are owned and all owners were promised the world with an "investment opportunity". Everything was going fine until John left and then embezzlement happened. Our last check was mailed February 2024 and it bounced. We have not been paid since then. They don't return phone calls and are literally causing financial hardship and they do not care.
Mar 24, 2025 · Ali NguyenElizabeth was very kind and helpful. Waiting for aFedEx delivery and she was very understanding about how upset I was. Erica was nice too. This was a campground. The location was too far into the forest for our liking. Most of the time, there was no internet.
