Forest Lake Village Reviews
A very clean park. I stayed here for a few weeks with my travel trailer and had no issues. The spots are a bit tight to back into but that is to be expected in these mobile home friendly RV parks. The pool and hot tub are very clean and very nice. There’s a great dog park that is mostly grass with a ton of shade and access to water. I didn’t engage much at all with the staff, but had no issues. Their trash valet is not the best. They ripped my garbage bag and left the trash in the street for me to clean up. I still would recommend staying here as it is nice and not too far from amenities. If enjoy walking, it is near several nature trails.
Apr 29, 2025 · Samantha BowieThis is an RV park. Clean a little older but keep up. The spots are small but adequate. Water, electric and sewer. Great pool and clubhouse. It’s kinda out in the woods and cow fields. But we loved it.
Apr 22, 2025 · Danielle ShermanI lived in this facility for now 5 years. Every year, pools are broken and not heated. Gates at the road are broken to allow anyone into a gated community. Maintenance at the village really is disappointing. Really think about buying in here. Do your homework on ELS properties.
Jan 29, 2025 · Dennis HillierNice campground. Packages can be delivered directly to the sites. Clean pools, SPA and clubhouse. Has a small dog park. Many long term residents. Weekly trash service. Very few trees (good for satellites).Cons:- Sites are a bit tight to maneuver for long rigs- Trains pass nearby regularly and usually honks very loudly- The location is not close to anything interesting for visitors. There's a hiking trail nearby but nothing much to see
Dec 31, 2024 · Ken WThis is a lovely little park, but it could be an amazing park. The amenities are quite nice and include a large pool with lap lanes, tennis/pickle ball, horseshoes, shuffle board, large and clean laundry facilities that use an app rather than coins, a nice rec hall, and many planned activities in the winter months. The staff are very responsive and pleasant to interact with.My problem is that they do not enforce their site standards for their longer-term guests. This is our third or fourth time staying here, and every time, it was the long-term folks that made our visits uncomfortable.People have toys, chairs, and what appears to be garbage strewn about their sites. When we got here, we discovered our neighbor was stealing electricity. See, long-term folks have to pay for theirs, but if you plug it into a transient site viola, free lights. I give him an A for effort, though. He had an extension cord running to his box to power his ACs, which is clever because I am sure the park would notice if he had no electricity usage while living here. My question is this: Once you realize the park is turning a blind eye to blatant theft from themselves, how is a customer to feel safe and secure here?
