For Pennsylvanians looking for a practical, long-term RV parking solution, this sustained affordability is highly attractive.
It is always recommended to contact the campground directly to confirm current rates, especially for weekly or monthly stays, as these can vary. While specific discounts for, say, military personnel or seniors are not explicitly stated, inquiring directly may provide additional information. Firehouse RV Campgrounds Reviews
The monthly rate is reasonable, and the rent helps support the fire department. Less than 10 miles to Waynesburg, Pa. which offers retail establishments such as Walmart, restaurants, etc. After staying at the park for over a year, the biggest issue I have experienced is one neighbor who plays his music too loud and the same person allowed to run his tractor and trailer for hours in the park creating a bad health environment especially the tenants with respiratory issues. The park is operated by the fire department, and you would think they would not allow such practices in which creates such a poor health environment for the remainder of the neighborhood.
Apr 27, 2025 · Gary SwopeThere is nothing fancy about this location. We arrived late at night for just a place to rest before pulling continuing on our trip. When we arrived, there were still other campers awake with very load music, profanity, and foul language being screamed at each other. There were many "season" campers in this location, but very few people actively camping this evening. Did not look at the facilities. At no point did they get any of our contact information other than a first name. When we contacted them to inform them we would be arriving later than expected, we felt that they actually forgot about our arrival as they didn't remember anything about our reservation request.
May 29, 2023 · Kathy SmithWe are here for two nights and moving on. The money is going for a good cause so I can deal with it. If you are passing through or a long termer bathrooms, showers and all sites have 50/30 service and Sewer. NO CABLE. They have WI-FI but cell phone coverage is one bar. There is a graveyard next door great place to go for a walk but ensure children are respectful of the graveyard. SO for a good cause it is worth it.
Sep 11, 2021 · Bill BrewerIt’s nice to have a bathhouse as well as laundry facilities. Just wish people would respect it more by cleaning after themselves. Also, BEWARE of dogs running around without leashes or owners attached to them. Took my chihuahua mix and my pitty mix and my pitty got into a little scuffle with one of the dogs on this property. It’s REALLY nice that all the proceeds go directly to the Fire-station.
Aug 16, 2019 · Ali CThis is a pretty nice RV site campground. Lot rent for a month is $400 and it includes water, sewage, electricity, garbage & Wi-Fi, there are laundry facilities on site as well as men & women's shower houses/bathrooms. The campground itself is not overly large and it's quite apparent there not much in the way of privacy, as the campers are all extremely close together. If your using the restroom inside your camper than beware...your neighbor will most likely hear you :) All in all it's a safe, clean, trouble free place all tucked behind the town of Jefferson's local firehall.
