May 30, 2025 · Ken BohrThis is a great campground and I highly recommend the canvas tents if you don't want to bring your own or need some additional sleeping space for guests. They were clean, comfortable, and spaceous. We stayed in October and with a space heater, it was really toasty and warm at night. You can't beat the campgrounds fall atmosphere, everyone decorates and gets into the festivities.
Oct 14, 2024 · Wendy LynchThis is a great campground for the price. There are not alot of different things to do though. The pond is nice I fish it every year I go up and it's nice being next to the river for the kids to play or float tubes down the river. They did just renovate the bath house which is nice but would be more comfortable if some mini splits were installed to keep it cool in there over the summer and reduce the humidity while using the restroom. I installed some at a bathroom campground with a company I used to work for and it was so nice having a climate controlled restroom. Other than that, it is a nice place to go relax.
Aug 08, 2024 · Ricky LoweWe enjoyed our visit over a 3-day weekend, and were not disappointed by all the campground had to offer! There is no pool, but the local pool is a very short drive to cool off. They offer many amenities, from the cleanest bath houses I've ever seen to fun activities planned (we enjoyed mini golf, the corn hole tournament, and hot air balloon rides during our stay!) There's something for everyone here, whether you're looking to relax by the fire, plan a weekend with friends camping alongside one another, or get out on a kayak adventure in the river. Camp store has tons of supplies, toys, gifts, and snacks to offer as well as rentals of kayaks, peddle cars, golf carts, etc. Would definitely visit again!
Jun 05, 2024 · Kathryn VuNice little spot, certainly caters to seasonal goers, but if you like to tent or are lucky enough to get in the camper area, definitely visit this little gem. It's quite literally a "hole in the wall" campground, but the people are friendly, and the river is beautiful!!!
