What is worth choosing
What truly sets Falls Campground apart and makes it a worthwhile choice for your next outdoor escape is its unique blend of peaceful seclusion and convenient amenities. Many campgrounds, especially those in popular areas, can feel crowded and commercialized. Falls Campground, however, maintains a more authentic, natural feel. The fact that it's a bit tucked away means that it attracts a specific kind of camper—one who appreciates tranquility and a sense of discovery. This "hidden gem" quality, as one reviewer so aptly put it, ensures a more relaxed and private experience. You get the beauty of nature without the overwhelming crowds.
The emphasis on accessibility is another major selling point. By offering wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, the campground demonstrates a commitment to being a welcoming space for all. This thoughtful consideration expands the opportunity for more people to connect with Idaho's beautiful outdoors, which is something we can all appreciate. The site's infrastructure, including running water, clean restrooms, and individual site amenities like picnic tables and grills, adds a layer of comfort that elevates the experience beyond basic camping. You can focus on enjoying the company of your fellow campers and the stunning surroundings rather than worrying about the logistics of your stay.
Finally, the community-oriented atmosphere and the kindness of the campground hosts make a huge difference. Positive feedback from previous visitors highlights the helpfulness and warm welcome they received, a factor that can turn a good camping trip into a great one. Whether it's helping with a logistical issue or just providing a friendly face, a good host enhances the entire experience. Falls Campground provides not just a place to stay, but a sense of place and belonging, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free camping trip right here in the heart of Idaho.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It was gorgeous and the host was lovely! Not really any campground signs from the main road, so you can easily pass it as it's also tucked away, and we loved that! We took the only available spot for the day we stayed, which lacked shade, but the spot was spacious, 2 picnic tables, and close to a bathroom. Definitely a good spot for a group of people. Sites are max of 16 people and 3 vehicles. There are walkways to the river to fish or just relax by the water. The water flows pretty fast so I wouldn't recommend swimming. We will definitely be staying again in the future! They're are better site #'s that we found as we walked the camp to book and I won't share that info..sorry about that. You won't be disappointed with this campground! It's probably a hidden gem for sure. For some reason this review doesn't give me the option to share pics, but I'll figure it out. We had site #16
July 01 · Bridgett AndrewsWe just visited falls campground. We love it and enjoyed our stay. The host was amazing and help us out alot. He also helped us out with a ride to drop off our truck for our canoe trip down the river. We stayed in #3 and #5. It was nice and clean. No complaints. We will definitely be going back again.
July 15 · HelloVERY clean and well taken care of campground. The camp host here does a great job stocking the rest rooms and keeping everything tidy. The camp sites are large and private, due to all the vegetation. There were two large picnic tables at our site, with a metal fire ring and a metal table for cooking, all on a concrete pad. Lots of flat space for tents. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend!
July 30 · Liz OttIdyllic camping experience with a site on the river. The hosts are nice, campsites spacious, toilets clean, sound of the river is lovely, ATV noise is only sporadic, and most people obey the dog leash rule. Even saw the local moose one morning! He kept his distance, thankfully. Was quite the sight!Close to town with everything you need. We spent four nights and highly recommend it.
June 18 · Julia HustlerWe stayed here just one night on our way to Teton National Park. It was a great place to stop, very quiet, great camphost and the restrooms were spotless! Robert greeted us and was helpful with our questions. I had heard of Fall Creek Falls, but did not see it on our way in to the campground. If you drive very slowly when you leave you will see it off the the right at about one mile from the campground. Go slow or you will miss it! I did not hike in but was able to get a good photo from the road. Photos are best in the morning light.
