Elkhart Co. / Middlebury KOA Holiday Reviews
NO STARS! Worst KOA we ever stayed at. We have been traveling since September 2024, all over the country. We have stayed in many KOA‘s. Never was the water as bad as this one. I know well water and this water smelled like rust. It’s stained my toilet bowl orange. Campers did not follow quiet time. Quiet time was at 10 PM-8:00 am. Loud music was being played at 11:15. We called the manager. Nothing was done. The music continued until 12:30- 1:00. Dogs were yapping at 6:30 AM. The length of the sites were so short we barely fit our 34 foot trailer. We had to park our truck on the grass. The fire pit was so close to our camper. I could feel the heat. One of the workers drove his golf cart right through our site with us sitting there. The sewer backed up at our site and we could not get in touch with the manager. The next site over put their sewer hose down the hole about 4 feet and clogged the line. The water Spicket leaked. This place needs major updating. Will never stay here again.
May 26, 2025 · Mary CWe stayed in cabin for 1 night. Mattress was hard on back/neck. Wound up sleeping on bunk bed for better sleep. A/C worked good. Womens restroom was ok, no scent of cleaner/disinfectant (just mopped). Found hair in shower drain (disgusting). AC running in bathroom. Need code to open door.No decor or landscaping for appeal front of cabin. Some guy riding tractor scraping road (?). Lady in office was nice, on phone, 2 guys standing around, no offer of assistance. TV was ok, little reception.
Jun 26, 2025 · Linda HumesCamp sites for larger campers are small. When we put the awning out it was within a 1 or so of the camper next to us. Pool is dated.. from around 1970ish.. bath house is somewhat clean, lot of showers in the men's but 2 toilets. Gravel pads somewhat level.. people in the office not that bright.. we came from Michigan and 13 the road that crosses over 80/90 toll road was closed fpr replacement and they never told us.. on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being top shelf i would rate it a 5 at very best. I would not stay here again.
Jun 18, 2025 · Mike ValentiStayed in a camping cabin which we enjoy so much more than hotels. Had a nice fire while taking in the campground's pleasant views. Cabin had fridge to store our food and nice corner space for our porta potty which we always travel with.
May 19, 2025 · Stephanie HooverWe stayed in a standard KOA cabin. It was fine. It said our TV was connected to the Internet but we couldn't get any of the channels to come in. The bathrooms were fine. There is street noise, but it wasn't horrible. The woman that helped me at checkout was very friendly.
