Edge of Woods Reviews
Great outdoor scenery, gives you the feeling of being at your grandparents house with all the love put into the details!Owners are super chill and super easy going as well! 💯
Jul 10, 2022 · Shelby GoodwinMy husband and I have had a seasonal site at Edge of Woods for 2 years now and cannot recommend it enough. The owner is incredibly accommodating and has consistently gone above and beyond to make sure we have what we need to enjoy our time at the campground. The one time there were issues with water and electric, the response time was immediate and the issue was fixed within an hour. The campground itself is small and no-frills. We’re a young couple that spend most of our days out on our boat and don’t require more than a spot for our camper plus a little yard to have a fire at night, which is exactly what we get at Edge of Woods. Our neighbors are all friendly and we’ve been able to enjoy many summer nights with friends here. What more can you ask for on the big lake?
Jul 24, 2019 · Samantha MarchandWe rented a seasonal site here. The owner is definitely a used car salesman. The unit wasn't ready for two weeks into the season because of junk everywheres. Look behind the fence he put up surprised the town if Gilfred or the EPA hasn't looked at what's back there. Our heater had a rat in it so we had to provide our own heat because it wasn't fixed. The bunk beds in the back the ceiling was full of water so we couldn't use it. This campground should be shut down. I will be filing a complaint with the town I have all the pictures and videos of this. I usually never write reviews but this business needs to be shut down.
Oct 11, 2018 · Sue FisichelliThis is not the campground the site leads you to believe. Small, dirty, crowded, and sleazy. We reserved a spot for our motorhome because it was close to the concert venue and website mentioned a shuttle. We arrived and where squeezed in between two seasonal trailers and the hook-ups had to be shared. The only way we got power was plugging into an adjacent trailer. Then found out the "shuttle" cost $8/per person. The "bathrooms" consisted of one old RV that had been confiscated for non-payment (sign said so right on the front of it). The one bathroom was shared by the entire campground. Avoid this place, I will never be back.
Jun 15, 2015 · Jerome LaMoriaThe place is small as others said, but it was the only one available near the concert, and gunstock was full. The owner was nice, but he works, so there is no one in the office during the day, have to contact him by phone. The other residents staying there were helpful, nice and very quiet, I slept well. If Gunstock is full next year, I would stay there again.
