Sep 01, 2023 · Scott LaRoseBeautiful well kept park. Was a little dog fouling.Beside well kept beach, plentiful free parking. Good facilities ie toilets and driking water.
Jun 30, 2024 · TedWe came here for lunch/a picnic after a day at Tawas Point State Park & Dog Beach. We were disappointed after our day at the state park but wow did this little park perk us up! There were plenty of parking spots. Tons of picnic tables. Shaded areas and grassy areas. A little beach with a beautiful view. Dog friendly and even had a station for doggy bags in case your pet pooped during their visit. Highly recommend for the beach or even a quick bite to eat while watching Lake Huron.
Jun 09, 2023 · Erica JacksonBeautiful setting on Lake Huron. Park was well taken care of. The swimming and beach are great. You can walk to town or walk the pier. A great location. The only negative was the two trains coming through in the middle of the night were hard to recover from. Look forward to coming back in the future.
