East Fork Park Introduce
For many of us Texans, a good weekend getaway involves two things: a serene body of water and a comfortable place to set up camp. East Fork Park, located on the shores of Lake Lavon in Wylie, offers just that. It's a convenient and well-equipped campground that provides a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life without requiring a lengthy drive. This spot is a favorite among locals for its tranquil atmosphere and a range of amenities that cater to both RV and tent campers.
East Fork Park is a place where you can relax and reconnect with nature. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1It is beautiful out here and for the most part quiet except for some rude neighbors who kept flashing flashlights at me when I was laying out for the night. Some even sent their kids to ask me rudely what I was doing there. I just said, turning in for the night, and went back to minding my own business. I started to say I was dodging the Ice Raids in town!! Lol!!The post attendants are awesome with great customer service and attentative and friendly while I drove in and out during my 2 week stay. I'll definitely be back again and make sure I bring my green card in case more curious neighboring campers want to inquire....
March 10 · Luis Cabrera JrIt's not a bad place to fish if you don't mind people splashing in the water next to your fishing pole and bass fisherman fishing on top of your fishing gear. best to have a boat at this lake. Shore fishermen get no respect.
October 24 · David NaritaAbsolutely fantastic experience at East Fork Park! I stopped by to purchase an Annual Pass for the National Park Service, and the attendant could not have been more helpful or friendly. She took the time to explain that the pass wasn’t just for National Parks, it also covers entry to National Forests, Bureau of Land Management areas, and all Army Corps of Engineers Parks, including East Fork. I really appreciated her kindness and all the helpful information. Great customer service and a beautiful park! Highly recommend stopping by, especially if you need an Annual Pass.
July 03 · Jeff BickerstaffWe love this park, we stay here anytime we come to Texas. The people that run the campground at the best. Friendliest I've seen and I travel all over this beautiful nation.
