Location and Accessibility

East Fork Campground is beautifully situated at E Fork Campground, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546, USA. This prime location places it deep within the scenic Rock Creek Canyon, a cherished part of the Inyo National Forest in California's Eastern Sierra. Its proximity to Mammoth Lakes, a major hub for outdoor recreation, makes it an attractive and accessible destination for residents across California.

Access to East Fork Campground is typically via U.S. Route 395, the primary north-south highway traversing the Eastern Sierra. From Highway 395, you would turn west onto Rock Creek Road (County Road 220), which winds its way into the stunning Rock Creek Canyon. This road is generally well-maintained and suitable for both cars and trailers, providing a relatively smooth journey into the high country. Once at the campground, its setting directly along Rock Creek ensures easy access to fishing and the soothing sounds of the water.
