Dolly Copp Campground Reviews
My personal favorite campground anywhere I’ve been. The sites are spacious and each loop has its own unique vibe. Staff are friendly and campground is meticulously maintained. Has turned into an annual getaway for my family.
Nov 17, 2024 · Kiathro HDWhat an Amazing little campground we found here. The place is so well laid out with lots of loops with most spots spread out and far from your neighbor. Place is very neat, clean but best of all it was QUIET. We spoke with Karen several times before we arrived and she was so helpful then and during our time while we were there. Can't say enough for her and all the crew that keep this place going. Area reminds us a lot of our home in East Tn. Thanks for a GREAT STAY!
Sep 24, 2024 · Mike GreeneNice campground electric and water if needed, dump station. Beautiful surroundings, pay showers.
Jun 05, 2025 · Mark ChrzescianBeautiful campground, spacious spots and amazing views. Only two comments:- Would be great if bathrooms had soap.- The showers… having the showers renovated just a few years ago, was it really necessary to make them coin operated with no other option to pay and no coin machine at the campground? And to charge 10 quarters minimum is simply a joke - who has 10 quarters with them nornally? Obviously no return button so when my tenth quarter was not accepted by the machine, i was left with all the other 9 eaten by the machine and no shower… for a shower built 30 years ago you’d understand but for these new ones that there was really no other way to operate them is just a joke.
Sep 04, 2024 · DoraThis campground has undergone a significant renovation in the past few years. $3.2 million has been used to bring this once deteriorating campground back to life. I stayed at site 146 which has both water and electric hook ups. Still, I would have expected from the level of construction that was done, for my site to be more level. The new bathrooms (and showers) are a great improvement over the old pit toilets (there were no showers). These current showers are pay showers and are OK. I wish the staff that are working there were more knowledgeable. (I asked if I needed to get a parking pass in order to park at the nearby Imp North Trailhead or if my camping pass covered parking at trailheads outside the campground and no one could answer that basic question). The dump station was clean and can be used by folks not staying at the NFS campground for a $10 fee. (That's a pretty good deal).
