Promotions or Special Offers
Dixon's Campgrounds, like many of our cherished local establishments, may offer various promotions or special rates to enhance your camping experience. While specific offers can vary by season, it’s always a good idea for us Maine locals to inquire directly about any potential discounts. Historically, campgrounds might provide reduced off-season rates (typically early May to mid-September for Dixon's), or special pricing for extended stays. It's worth noting that some policies, like deposits for holidays or shorter reservations, may require full payment upfront, and a ten-day cancellation notice is often needed for refunds (minus a service charge). However, no refunds are typically given for holiday reservations, early departures, or poor weather, so planning is key.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on any current promotions, seasonal deals, or specific booking policies, your best approach is to contact Dixon's Campgrounds directly. You can also check their official website, as they often post information about their rates, policies, and any special events or live music they might host, particularly during the summer months. Keep an eye out for potential online booking availability, which often begins in January for the upcoming season. Don't hesitate to give them a call – a friendly conversation can often uncover the best way to plan your cost-effective and enjoyable Maine camping trip.

Great owners! Spoke with them checking in and out. The facilities were in pristine condition. Will definitely go back there.
Jun 05, 2025 · Brian Johnson8/23/24 Dixon’s is AMAZING‼️ Spotless private bathrooms & showers. Although our Airstream had a toilet & shower I preferred to use theirs. The friendly staff Billy & Yani, etc kept cleaning through out the day. Also a heated swimming pool. Dogs r permitted but there is also a dog free zone near pool & children’s playground. Excellent security passes for entering & leaving. There is a tent section and different size RVs. Even the people using Dixon’s were polite & friendly. Noise restrictions after 8pm and before 8am were adhered to by all.Just 7 mins down the road from The Marginal Way, path along ocean front. And the pier with shops and great restaurants. We will definitely be going back. This was our 1st camping trip & it was amazing‼️ Our next trip is going to be impossible living up to Dixon’s!!
