Diamond Lake Campground

Very nice, small family campground. Most of the sites are less than 100 yards from the lake. Lots of trees and brush between the sites, which are roomy. The drinking water is good, no bad taste. Minimal mosquitos. Quiet. Play equipment is in good condition. Beach and lake are clean, water is warm. Very cute goats and chickens. There are fireflies in the grassy areas. A downside for us is that dogs have no area anywhere within sight of the beach, so I couldn't sit with the dog and watch the kids. In our 48 hours there, the bathhouse was not cleaned or restocked. - Anastasia Schmidt
