As Dewdrop Campground is located within the Allegheny National Forest, it is typically managed by the U.S. Forest Service or an authorized concessionaire. Therefore, it may not offer "promotions" in the same way a private commercial campground would. However, Pennsylvanians can often find value and plan their trips effectively by considering the following:
- Federal Recreation Passes: Holders of America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.) may receive discounts on camping fees where applicable at federal campgrounds. It's advisable to inquire if these apply at Dewdrop.
- Off-Peak Season Rates: Camping outside of the busiest summer months (e.g., late spring or early fall) often results in lower rates and fewer crowds.
- Early Reservations: This isn't a discount, but it's crucial for securing a spot, especially given that the campground is described as "very busy." Reservations can typically be made via Recreation.gov.
- Group Rates: If traveling with a large group, inquire if any group site rates or discounts are available.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information on rates, availability, and any potential offers, it is highly recommended to visit Recreation.gov or call Dewdrop Campground directly.

Dewdrop Campground Reviews
Absolutely beautiful views and many access points to the water. Great place to camp, but the bathrooms are horrible and makes it hard if you bring young kids. The park needs to fix the bathrooms. We stayed 4 days recently and we tent camp. Temps dipped into the 30s over night and we couldn't even take a hot shower to warm up. I had 3 kids ages, 8, 4, and 1 and the bathroom situation made it very rough.

It is a little bit down a hill to set up camp and tent from the parking spots but overall a great choice in our opinion and we will go back to Dew Drop again.
Jul 22, 2024 · Norberto LozadaWe camped at this campground for the first time and we enjoyed it SO much. The restrooms are decent. There is a boat launch. The sites are maintained well. They also allow “vicious” breeds. You are literally in the mountains and it is so peaceful! There is no cell service so you really get to be away from all the hustle for a weekend.
