Desolation Hotel Campground

Campground, 14655 CA-88, Markleeville, CA 96120, USA

5.0
The most incredible camping experience we’ve had! Location was perfect. We enjoyed hiking, rock climbing, and even fishing in the immediate area. In terms of facilities they are quite literally the cleanest bathrooms and showers we have ever seen in a campground. Our campsite was within ear shot of a river and it was the perfect noise to fall asleep to. Best of all the camp hosts are super kind, helpful, and welcoming. We will absolutely be staying here every time we come to the Tahoe area! - Alexandra Gerdisch
