Depthfinder Island N7 Campsite Reviews
Our families came to this spot on house boat trips in the 1980s. We called it "the perfect island." The massive white pine with laddered branches is gone but the sunning rocky beach head and natural fire pit spot are still there.
May 28, 2025 · Laura MortensonI used to camp at this spot with my family in the 60s before this became national par land. Many many happy memories made here from my childhood. Things were different then. A rough hewn timber table, a fire pit, and a tent space was the campground. The latrine was a hike up the hill behind the tent site. It was a box with a lid, no toilet seat, and no enclosure! We would travel by boat from Crane Lake every year for 5-6 years running and stay for two weeks. Fabulous fishing and exploring! And WILD BLUEBERRIES! Great spot!
