Denver Creek Campground Reviews
Great campground with nice Mountain View’s. Clean pit toilet, not too far from Lake Granby. No reservations needed here, all the other places by the lake were full.
Aug 13, 2020 · Kelly BLoved our stay here. We looked everywhere and all other campgrounds were full. We pulled into Denver Creek and had our choice of spots on the hill. Tim, the campground host was very helpful and personable. He even pulled out a tape measure to make sure our 30 foot rig would fit in our chosen campsite. Bathrooms were clean and regularly disinfected. Water available. Dry camping only.
Aug 19, 2020 · Caroline DavisThe individual campsites are spacious and well kept. The bathroom was very clean. There is a water fountain for drinking water, but otherwise no running water. Pretty views and overall quiet area. Right near the river if you want to fish or swim. Also, the camp manager, Bob, was very welcoming and helpful!
Jun 26, 2017 · Abby LNice place...a little crowded when we went...all the others nearer rocky mountain National park were already full....we got the last spot.
Jul 01, 2020 · Scott CorneliusFirst - I did not camp here, but I plan on it when my schedule allows! There are two campgrounds . . . 1) up on the mountain, overlooking the area. It is open and spacious. Vault toilets and drinking water available. 2) down by the creek is the second area. Some sites with creek access. Not as open and some tent only sites. There is another 1-2 sites below the Upper campground - no toilets or drinking water unless you walk up the hill. The Host talked about moose in the area - mainly at night. This campground is not near any stores or cities; it is a true camping experience in nature. The Host also indicated weekends were fairly busy.
