Delaware River Campground Reviews
We went during a VERY rainy weekend and still left feeling like there was plenty to do. Loved the playground area and the RC track was a huge hit.We rented the loft cabin and it was perfect for us and our small children. It was very clean and comfortable. It had stairs up to the loft- that overlooked the living/kitchen area. A full bath and separate queen bedroom in the back.We will definitely be back- hopefully for better weather.
Jun 19, 2025 · Pam Sell-VillWe came for Memorial Day wknd. Took us an hour to get our camper level because the sight, Oak 36, was on a hill and very unlevel and muddy. Also no cable hookup as offered. Never once was I able to connect to wifi.Website shows miniature golf and heated pool. Miniature golf was closed with yellow tape. Pool was not heated, (claimed to be doing a polar plunge) but I wouldn't have used it anyway because the bottom was so dirty. They did have a lot of activities and entertainment. Nice view of the river. Staff was nice, one was a little unprofessional yelling at baby behind the counter numerous times. Ice cream place down the road, (Humpty Jr's) was great.Probably will not return because we look for more relaxing atmosphere. This is a party place.
May 27, 2025 · joelle BrandtWe visited this campground for a competition barbecue weekend, and it was a fantastic experience! The campsites were nice and flat, which is a big deal for us. The open layout of our area made it easy to combine spots with our friends from Arkansas, so we could all enjoy one big shared space. We had an absolute blast, and the setup was perfect for a fun, social weekend. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to camp with friends or host a gathering!
Oct 31, 2024 · Karryl BoggsDid some research and came across Delaware water gap campground. Well, they did not disappoint! I usually have no expectations, I was so wowed on how organized the grounds are. I think the most important part was they provide a very secure and safe place where people can enjoy themselves, make friends, and the kids run around. It’s so serene and relaxing. On our arrival with our RV, we checked in at the desk and quickly we were off to our spot. A picnic table & steel firewood ring. You can purchase wood at the front desk amongst other items for camping. The day we arrived there was so much activities, nephews quickly joined a slime/pumpkin class, afterwards we got ready for a hay ride around the grounds, campsites were decorated for Halloween and all the kids went trick-or-treating. We did some karaoke at the end of the night. Our next day, we did some fishing & Arch throwing, while my other nephew played basketball and volleyball with friends he met. We also went down the road to the market to purchase fresh produce, and yummy donuts. At night time we did a communal bonfire and watched an outdoor movie. Third & final day, we hit up the heated pool! There are so many other things that the grounds offer you can only do so much. I’m bummed because I heard food network will be here next week hosting a BBQ contest!! Thank you guys for the experience!
Oct 17, 2024 · Cathy RiccobonoOkay, I just got here today with my family. I took 2 days off of work, paid the $80/night + all necessities, drove 2 hours. Then we get here, the office staff were great, funny, accommodating. Here's the issue - the noise is the worst I've ever experienced while out camping. We invited our friend and her son which neither have ever been camping before, so this was the make it or break it for them. They ended up having to move from their tent to my car. I called the office twice, spoke to Pam, and they made their rounds about the noise. So they do care, but I don't understand how it's now 11:35pm and people are STILL partying/yelling/dogs barking non-stop/neighbors at site 18 constantly beeping their car, Spanish music blaring. I am so disappointed and felt the need to have to write this. As I write this, someone is drunkenly vomiting next site over.I love other parts of this campground, but if you are looking for a peaceful time away (which we desperatelyneeded), this probably, sadly is not the best choice. I dread another night here, but we will make the best of it because we have a birthday tomorrow in our group.I also took a video of some of the noise.
