Known for its clear waters and excellent fishing—especially for the elusive muskie—Pomme de Terre Lake provides the perfect backdrop for a quintessential Missouri getaway.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Another beautiful Corps of Engineers campground. Nice spacious, level campsites that are spaced apart. Campsites with electric are only $10 ($5 with the America the beautiful/ senior pass ) during the shoulder season and free for primitive campsites January 5-March 14 ( check the USACE website for updates ).So thankful to the Corps of Engineers for keeping the campgrounds at Pomme De Terre Lake open all year.Normally, people that live full time in an RV or Van don't winter in Missouri but with family here this is exactly where I end up spending winter months. Thanks to the Corps of Engineers campgrounds staying open and even having one campground that has electric all year, I am able to come home and celebrate the holidays with my family. There is really no way to express how grateful I am for the Kansas City District USACE.. for making information, prices, locations etc easy to find, for making beautiful campgrounds that keep as many natural features as possible, and for keeping campgrounds open all year.
January 29 · Rebecca LentsStayed at site 66. Not the best site but waterfront. Bathroom is a little aged but quality of campground overall is above average.
May 17 · Steven GreeneAll the camp sites have a nice view. However, It did not have a friendly host. The trash was over flowing till the day we left. The bathrooms may have NEVER been mopped, the drains were stoped up so when you shower, your feet are covered and the water runa into the next stall. No map was given. I will not be back to this campground.
June 24 · Tami LynnSuper clean camping. Sites easy access. Park attendant’s are super nice folks. As well park rangers here. One of our favorite spots pomme de terre
May 13 · jeff thomasDespite the rain, it really is a nice place... Not a bad site on the ground. Every site has a lake view (even if not water side).And...... we found a hidden tent/RV location off the main drive.Would definitely recommend!!!
