As a paying member, I was truly disappointed with our recent stay. We did not receive a full hook-up site, which I believe should be a standard amenity for all guests—especially those who are not staying for free. The campground appears to need some maintenance and updates in several areas. One major concern was the pool, which had an excessive amount of chlorine. It was so strong that it caused discomfort and eye irritation for myself and my family. As a Hispanic-American, U.S. citizen, and Army veteran, I expect to be treated with the same respect and provided with the same quality experience as any other guest. Sadly, our stay left us feeling like second-class members, and that is not acceptable. We’ve always enjoyed being part of the camping community, but based on this experience, we won’t be reserving here again. I sincerely hope management takes these comments into consideration to improve the experience for all guests in the future. - Angelli Betancourt
