July 20 · Brent TaftGreat campsites . Very quiet and peaceful . First come first serve sites at a very cheap price. No hookups or power but they have bathrooms on site with real toilets and running water that were very clean. The camp hosts were very nice and informative .This loop D isn’t too far from the reservoir / dam which made for great and easy accessible fishing . They also offer running fresh (drinkable water ) at designated locations. As well as a prettty big sand pit for the kids or adults . (Pickle ball, horse shoes , volley ball , sandcastles, etc)The only down side I would say is our campsite specifically (D21) had the smell of a dead animal or super rotten garbage or near our site the whole stay . We tried to find it but couldn’t so that was the only part that I said wasn’t too great was having that awful smell near the whole weekend. But I highly recommend checking this site out very fun & great location .
