Crystal Springs Recreation Area Reviews
My family and I stayed for 3 nights and it was all great! We stayed at site 13 and it's beautiful!! We were next to the water where we got to fish and where the boat ramp was, so boats were going out at 4am and it woke us up. We weren't far the restroom and showers (walking distance). Also if you need something there is a dollar general 5 mils away. Beach was amazing also. The only thing I didn't like was at our site there is about 1 1/2 foot drop of the edge, and kinda steep to get to the water. But I would definitely return!!! Oh! The host are both very sweet people! The man came around everyday to check to see how the kids were liking it. So sweet!!
May 09, 2025 · Emily GavinThis is an absolutely lovely spot, with plentiful trees, areas for picnicking, and an ample swimming area. The changing rooms leave something to be desired, but the beauty of the area compensates for them. We were having an excellent time until two fellow swimmers started smoking in the middle of the swimming area. And I do mean the middle, as they brought their cigarettes to the center of the water and were flicking ash into the lake and blowing smoke towards us and the young family nearby. Not a fault of the location, but certainly despicable behavior.
Jul 02, 2024 · Elsbeth Paige-JeffersThis is our annual camping trip every year we go here and we love it. We rent a pontoon for one day and we rent jet skis and swim on the little islands on the lake. There is hiking trails to go whether foot or vehicle, and while on an adventure we found an Oasis, a jewel off the trails There was this creek that had a constant flow and the water was so cold but felt so good. We had an awesome trip and can't wait till next year.
