Crossover Campground

Hungry Horse, MT 59919, USA

4.0
Who know that this would be a perfect vacation. We took our chance with this campground and it was nothing but beautiful. Sun doesn't hit the camp until after 10am (in August) so you can enjoy a coffee or tea with your breakfast, admiring views, fresh air, clean water in peace and quiet or sleep in if thats something you like. Lake is very clean, and temperature is awesome for swimming (after sun hits the beach)This campground has a boat launch, restrooms and fire rings. All of the campsites are close to water but not too close to the road, so dust and noise won't bother you.Definitely recommend it, but be aware, bears are present in the area. Dogs are good way to scare them away, and bring a bear spray if you don't have a dog. - Vladimir Dasic

It provides a much-needed opportunity to truly disconnect from daily distractions, allowing families and friends to engage in meaningful conversation, play games, and simply enjoy each other's company without the constant pull of screens. This fosters a return to simpler times and stronger bonds, which is highly valued in Montana's community-oriented culture.
