We love it here and make a point to camp here at least once a summer. This is my 3rd weekend camping here this month. I have tent camped and trailer camped and enjoyed both. The waterfront is awesome. It is a good place to bring kayaks and our canoe. The kids love the treehouse and gaga ball pit. This is a quiet place to camp not too far from town. It is pet friendly and people friendly too. Ranger Leo is helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Camp Cowles if you are looking for a restful camping trip. Reservations are required. - Mariah Steinmetz
