This campground is a hidden gem. Located 1 mile from the main road & nestled on a small creek, away from the noises of the daily life. Easy access for big RVs with no twisty roads to maneuver. Drive down the gravel road, past several old barns, and it’s like traveling back to a simpler time in your life. The campsites are positioned along a picturesque creek, and have the necessary amenities for modern convenience: Water, Electric, and strong WiFi throughout the entire property. The RV spots have sewer connections. All sites are level & well maintained. Clean bathrooms & showers, with plenty of hot water. Fire pits at each site, with firewood available for purchase. Wild flowers throughout the property attract hummingbirds & butterflies. We spotted a few lightning bugs, a small deer, and a tiny fox. Although 3 other groups were present during our stay, it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Very quiet & peaceful. The campground has an open field, big enough for various sports & activities. Grocery stores, restaurants, and local businesses are 10-15 minute drive. The camp hosts are extremely friendly & made us feel welcomed and appreciated. We used the campground as a base camp, and traveled every day to enjoy hiking, waterfalls, driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and exploring the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We used our day light productively, and were happy to have a peaceful campsite to return to each evening for campfire dinners & restful nights. We look forward to returning in the near future. - William Wynn
