Country Bumpkins Campground and Cabins Reviews
We have gone to this campground for about 8 years. Excluding covid. We love it! Diane and Mario have always been helpful and friendly. We always reserve the same spaces that are against the river. Short walk to the bathrooms, nice little store with good prices and a small arcade room {old school machines, which are better}.
Jun 19, 2025 · JanRoseWent early in the season to decompress and visit some local places I had taken my kids when they were little. LOVED the property, the cabin and Diane and Mario were great hosts! Looking forward to returning in the future!
May 14, 2025 · Meghan DodgeSome people just don't like rules as I read other reviews. I hate people but Diane and Mario are one of if not the nicest, most down to earth couples we have ever met. Extremely accommodating to provide a cabin, actually 3 different ones to fill our void. Look no further peeps, this place is amazing. Will definitely enjoy Country Bumpkins and Diane and Mario annually.
Feb 14, 2025 · Scott clohecySo I honestly can’t believe I’m writing a bad review for this campground. It’s not due to unsatisfactory of the sites or campground itself. The place is amazing on the river. This place has been a family tradition for years and have loved it every year. Unfortunately this year do to unprofessional owners we will no longer come here. I have never communicated through email to reserve a site here or any other place in my life. It’s either phone call or reserve online with any campground including here except this year. I tried to booked a vacation for the family this year as I do every year. Although this time I received a response via email. It stated that the 2 camp sites and cabin I was interested in wasn’t available although Diane stated they had other River front sites available and a different cabin available if we was interested but didn’t allow campers in cabins and that’s fine it was fine last years and was allowed. We aren’t there to break rules or get over on someone we are there to have a vacation and enjoy our time as a family. So as my emails went out for other availability for the sites I waited and only received a response of booked with a smile emoji ( which I found unprofessional) not let me give you dates or when I sent email asking to talk over phone was completely ignored. I’m amazed I love this place and the owners never had a problem thought they was cool as heck. So I then continued to respond with just want to know when I can rent the camping sites she responded back and then said they didn’t rent the camping sites sites and cabins together. Now remind you of her first email to me offering other sites and a cabin (baffled) so I said ok I just want camp sites then I’ll have my mom reserve her own cabin no big deal. Neverrr got a response back at allll. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! How do you run a business like this guys???? Sad but guess won’t come back now..
Apr 14, 2025 · Heather BurdickI have been going here for years!! I love that there aren't tons of loud people partying and ruining the peace of nature. I love the river ruining though it, I love the staff. Don't come here if you are just wanting to party with friends, go somewhere else!! Family friendly.
