Cole Valley Campground

Wow! What a fantastic campground! The absolute best shower house and bathrooms I’ve ever experienced at a campground. The showers were enclosed rooms with an area for changing, the water was hot and clean and did not smell like sulfur, and great water pressure. The campsites all had electric hookup - even the primitive sites-, nice sturdy picnic tables, fire rings, and ice and firewood available 24:7. We cannot say enough great things about the hospitality of the owner and his family. They even made time to hang out at the campsite with us and share their story and vision for the campground. They took an empty field and made it a dream. It’s close to Tecumseh Trails, Wayne National Forest, and the town of New Lexington. There was a grocery store close by for anything you forgot as well. We can’t wait to go back! - Catherine Bolton
