Overall, Clear Springs is readily accessible by car and suitable for both tent campers and RV enthusiasts, with a dump site conveniently located at the entrance. Clear Springs Campground Reviews
Amazing campground. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and it never disappoints. We had a blast this weekend. If you come, bring bikes!
Feb 03, 2025 · Jason HodgesThe campground is in desperate need of some TLC but we still had a great time. I have read through so many reviews and looked at so many pics & not 1 single picture or mention of the creek even from people who claim they use to come here as kids. Does no one know the creeks existed except me and my family. I preferred the creek over the lake even when I was a child in the 80s. Anyhow it’s a bit of a climb down and then back up but man it’s worth it. I brought my kids and husband yesterday & they had a great time. We do know next time we definitely need a rope ladder or something so the climb down and back up from the creek.
Jul 14, 2024 · Melissa StrahanThe campground roads are in need of a little maintenance, along with the paved trail. Bathrooms are very clean and well-maintained. Larger trailers should stick to the loop on the right as the sites are more level and trailer friendly. Trailer sites on the left Road are a little tight for larger trailers. We had a 21 footer and were able to manage between the trees. Water and Electric with a senior lifetime pass was 13.00 per night. Campground was not crowded on a Saturday night. Forest service, please keep this campground open!
Jun 15, 2025 · Dymm WittScenic area and campgrounds. Peaceful and quiet. Westbound on 84, GMap gives you a four mile dirt road. Pass it by and proceed W on 84 to the Clear Springs Rd and sign. Turn S onto paved road. Easy. Campsites on upper loop seem easier to back a trailer or small RV into; more level. Our second time there and will stay again in future.
Jun 16, 2023 · Steve MillerClear springs was a big part of my childhood with so many good memories here. Things have changed a lot since those days but going there after so many years was still like seeing an old friend. The nostalgia and positive energy are still there. It is still a beautiful place and very peaceful. I will be spending a bit more time visiting this dear old family friend.
