Running Water: The site has running water, which is a crucial amenity. However, as noted by a reviewer, a portable water pump runs continuously, creating noise and fumes in some areas. The site serves as a put-in or take-out point for non-motorized boaters floating the Verde River, highlighting its importance for local water-based recreation.
Good for Kids: This site is a great option for families with children. The opportunity to fish with the family and the availability of running water make it a convenient and enjoyable place for a family outing. Kids can enjoy playing by the water and trying their hand at fishing in a safe environment. The simple pleasures of a day by the creek are often the most memorable for young ones.
Fishing and Kayaking: As the name suggests, the main highlights of the site are its opportunities for fishing and kayaking. It’s a popular spot for those who want to catch some fish or put their kayaks in the water for a relaxing trip. The secluded river views and the peaceful atmosphere make it a fantastic setting for these activities, providing a relaxing change of pace.

The scenery is a major draw, offering a peaceful atmosphere with hidden picnic tables and river views. It’s an ideal spot for a quiet picnic by the water or simply for enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
Secluded Atmosphere: For those who are looking to get away from the crowds, the Clear Creek Fishing Site is often described as secluded. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Continuous noisy and smelly portable water pump running… smell fumes as you walk down to the water, then fumes subside, but noise remains. I know they need this for farming, but there has got to be a better solution. It really ruins the area for recreation. Otherwise, is very pretty.

July 09 · Cheryl YohnSecluded and exactly what we were looking for. Nice river view and hidden picnic tables. Would give 5 stars but it could really use some brush clean up. Other than that, its perfect!
February 02 · KarleyIt was a wonderful area. It was a very easy hike to the water, we saw some wonderful wildlife invented to be a very peaceful and enjoyable spot to spend sometime. There's a small parking lot but we found we had the place mostly to ourselves for the most part. Make sure to follow the directions on the GPS for a while with that that we are going to be lost but the information is accurate and we did make it there.
