Jun 27, 2024 · Bird SmithBeen camping up here for 40 years always enjoy the hikes Clear Creek Canyon the giant log makes it easy to hike to the other side of the canyon but now the high floodwaters have taken the giant log away there’s still the nice hike To Froglegs through the forest or at the logging road.Darrington is 3 miles away for food. The trees here are several hundred feet tall and big around as your car it’s a primitive campground with only about 12 sides there’s a nice campground host that sells wood.
Aug 31, 2024 · Danny WhiteGreat little campground! Close enough to Darrington to replenish provision too. The spots are a bit close together, we stayed in 6 and enjoyed it, so if you have dogs or kids you can expect to see the occasional rascal visit your spot. The distance from the highway is close, but not noisy as it isn't that busy.
